Teca Tu is consistently a winner in the annual "reader's poll for the locals" contest held by the Santa Fe Reporter, Santa Fe, New Mexico's weekly newspaper for news and entertainment.

Teca Tu also received the "Upscale Boutique of The Year" award in 2002. The award is presented by Pet Product News, a monthly business newsmagazine covering the issues and trends affecting all sectors of the professional pet industry.
