Skeeter! Pet of the Month for
April 2006
"Skeeter is all Rat Terrier, heart and soul. She spent most of her life airborne, catching a frisbee in the wilds of New Mexico but now is
retired, with all feet on the ground, in Aspen, Colorado. Skeeter is 16. In 1990 I picked her out of a litter located in Albuquerque. I put
her in my truck, on the floor, because that's where dogs should ride. Before I got her home she was in my lap driving herself. She has been
driving for 14 years, but now is blind and tells me how to drive. Skeeter comes with me to work and has 10 years under her belt as a top
notch accounting assistant. She also loves to chase and catch rats."
